Courses, taught
slowly.

Every course below is the same idea at a different depth: a small group, a patient pace, and a coach beside you until each skill feels ordinary. Tell me where you are and I will tell you which one fits.

What I teach

  1. 01

    Discover Scuba Diving (Try Diving)

A gentle half day for people who have never breathed underwater. We get you comfortable in shallow water with the kit on, practise breathing through the regulator, and take one short dive with me beside you the whole time.

Half day · Shallow water and one short dive · No experience needed

  2. 02

    Open water course

The full beginner course: breathing and mask skills, buoyancy, assembling your kit, buddy checks and hand signals, then your first open-water dives. We spread it over several days so nothing is rushed and nothing is learned in a panic.

Several days · Confined water then open water · For beginners

  3. 03

    Advanced open water

For divers who can already dive and want to feel in charge of it. Deeper dives, better buoyancy, navigation with a compass, and a night or drift dive depending on where we are. Each dive has one thing to practise, and we talk it over before and after.

Two to three days · Five dives · For certified divers

  4. 04

    Rescue and safety

What to do when something goes wrong under water. Helping a tired or panicking diver, towing, searching for someone who did not surface, and getting them out and breathing. We run it as real scenarios, not a lecture.

Three days · Scenario practice · Rescue and first aid

  5. 05

    Buoyancy clinic

One focused session on hovering and staying off the bottom. This is the single change that makes every dive after it longer, calmer and easier on the reef. Bring the kit you normally dive in.

One session · Two dives · Any certified diver

  6. 06

    Refresher before a trip

Been out of the water a while? We go back over the things that go rusty: kit setup, mask clearing, weighting, and the first ten minutes of a dive. You leave ready for a holiday instead of nervous about it.

Half day · Two dives · For divers coming back

Not sure which one? Ask me.

Tell me whether you have dived before, what you would like to be able to do, and when you want to get in the water. I will come back with the course that fits and what it costs.
